The Lawrence County Bulldogs go on the road and look to take down the undefeated East Carter Raiders in a 3A clash on Friday.
Lawrence County enters the match up with a 3-1 record following its 58-26 win at Magoffin County last week. The Bulldogs scored three defensive touchdowns in that game and then used a balance rushing attack, led by Dylan Ferguson and Ryan Marcum. Ferguson had 90 yards and 1 touchdown on 7 carries, and Marcum added 87 yards and 1 touchdown on 8 attempts. Cody Crum finished with 5 carries for 60 yards and 2 touchdowns. Lawson Baisden had 47 yards and 1 touchdown on 2 carries.
East Carter (5-0) took down Fleming County last week, 39-14. The Raiders were led by Isaac Boggs’ 158 yards and 1 touchdown on 15 rushing attempts. Bryer Holbrook had 49 yards and 2 touchdowns on 8 carries. Dustin Hall finished with 5 carries for 43 yards and 1 touchdown. Gabe Roberts caught the only 2 completed passes from Eli Estepp for 75 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The opening kick is set for 7:30 pm tonight.
