Primetime Performers

Congratulations to Austin Howard of Lewis County for winning the Week 5 Double Kwik Player of the Week.

Now lets meet this weeks “PRIME TIME PERFORMERS.”

First, we start in Pikeville with the Panthers star running back Blake Birchfield. Against county rival Belfry, Birchfield carried the football 26 times for 180 yards all while scoring 4 TDs.

For our next 2 Prime Time Performers, we travel across the state line stopping in Logan where Bryce Davis put on a defensive show. Davis recorded 20 tackles to lead the Wildcats over the ”Dots” from Poca 49-20.

Staying in Logan County, Chapmanville’s Kohl Farmer led the Tigers to a 47-0 shutout over Nitro. Farmer rushed for 134 yards on 19 carries for 4 TDs. Farmer also had a kickoff return for 85 yards for a TD.

Finally, Ashland QB Labryant Stader was a huge part of the offensive explosion Friday night against West Jessamine. The Tomcats won 69-63. Strader accounted for 364 yards of total offense. Stader was 15-21 thru the air for 222 yards and 3 TDs. He also rushed for 11 carries for 142 yards and 2 TDs.
