Man Looks To Continue Success At Wyoming East

The Man Hillbillies have been on a roll lately. Man has won its last three games heading into a clash with the Wyoming East Warriors.

The Hillbillies (3-1) are coming off a 28-14 win over Mingo Central last weekend. Man is currently ranked 11th in Class A.

Jayden Brumfield led the Hillbillies in their win last week, completing 6-of-9 passes for 96 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Brumfield also finished with 63 yards and 3 touchdowns on 7 carries. Jordan Adams had 16 carries for 56 yards in the in win. Jacob Walls led all receivers with 3 catches for 79 yards.

A win over the Class AA Warriors would help Man rise in the Class A rankings, but Wyoming East (0-3) is hoping to spoil Man’s plans. Wyoming East will need to shore up its defensive effort if it has any hope in stopping the Hillbillies. The Warriors have given up over 70 points in their last two games. They are coming off a bye week after losing to Nicholas County the week prior, 71-7.

The kickoff is set for 7 pm at Wyoming East.
