The Tug Valley Lady Panthers picked up wins over Man and Logan in volleyball action on Monday in Naugatuck.
Tug Valley defeated Man, 2-0 (25-14, 25-17). Kauai Messer had 5 aces and 1 assist. Mandi Milum added 5 aces and 1 kill. Haven Deskins recorded 2 aces. Andrea Newsome had 4 assists. Makenzie Browning and Bailee Hall had a kill apiece in the win.
The Lady Panthers also knocked off Logan, 2-1 (19-24, 25-21, 25-19). Milum had 3 aces and 5 kills. Browining added 3 aces and 2 kills. Hall finished with 2 aces and 6 kills. Messer had 1 ace and 4 assists. Newsome recorded 10 assists, and Deskins finished with 1 kill.
