The Westside Renegades lost to the visiting Pikeview Panthers, 27-0, on Friday in Clear Fork.
Westside (1-3) only trailed Pikeview 7-0 at the half, but the Panthers broke open the contest with 12 points in the third quarter.
Kadien Vance had 66 yards on 11-of-19 passing. Vance added 18 yards rushing on 9 attempts. He also had an interception on defense. Parker Lambert led Westside’s rushing attack with 28 yards on 8 carries. Kyler Kenneda had 2 carries for 9 yards. Hunter Cline finished with 5 yards on 4 attempts.
Kenneda also led the Renegade receivers with 3 catches for 20 yards. Kenneda also had an interception on defense. Brennan Rose had 1 reception for 14 yards. Lambert and Ivan Clay each had 2 catches for 10 yards.
Defensively, Lambert and Dakota Martin led the way with 7 tackles.
Westside returns to action on Friday when they host the Independence Patriots. Independence (4-0) was ranked 5th in the latest WVSSAC rankings. Kickoff is set for 7 pm in Clear Fork.
