The Spring Valley Timberwolves find themselves ranked 8th in the first WVSSAC Class AAA football rankings of the 2022 season.
The Timberwolves, who are coming off a bye week, are 2-0 after posting wins over Huntington and Portsmouth, OH.
Spring Valley has a chance to move up this week by hosting 5th-ranked Hurricane on Friday night. The opening kick is set for 7:30 pm.
The WVSSAC football rankings are released each Tuesday. The top 16 teams in each class at season’s end qualify for the WVSSAC Football Championship Playoffs.
