In the first round of the All-A Classic, Prestonsburg would take a commanding win over the Shelby Valley Wildcats with a score of 24-0. The next night, in the second round of the All-A Classic, the Blackcats would once again take an impressive win over the Martin County Lady Cardinals. This game would result in a score of 11-1.
The Blackcats would be lead by senior, Anna Burchett in the win against Shelby Valley. Butcher would score eight goals and gain one assist in the game. Jade Fitzpatrick would follow up with four goals of her own on the night.
Against Martin County, Burchett would once again score eight goals. The other three goals came from teammates Jade Fitzpatrick and Sophie Stephens.
The Prestonsburg Blackcats look to keep their undefeated season alive on September 10, as they play the Pikeville Panthers in the championship game of the All-A Classic.
