Belfry Wins 2A Regional Classic (Louisa-KY) Coach Trenedy May’s Belfry Pirate Soccer team jumped ahead to a 4-0 lead over Rowan County going into the half of the 2A Finals, the Pirates kept the momentum in the 2nd half and ended up winning the match 6-1 in route to winning the 2021 2A Regional Classic Championship.
Prestonsburg Advances to the 1A Championship Game – (Pikeville, KY) The red hot Prestonsburg Blackcats made quick work of the Pikeville Panthers as they jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The Blackcats were led in scoring by their three seniors, Dylan Moore, Isaiah Collins and Matt Burchett. The scoring breakdown is as follows:
