On Tuesday, the Hazard Bulldogs traveled to Paintsville, KY to take on the Johnson Central Golden Eagles. The Golden Eagles jumped out early and scored often on their way to an impressive 8-1 victory. The Golden Eagles sensational Juniors Shawn Arms and Sawyer Crum each scored 3 goals and had 1 assist to lead their team to victory. Mason Walker added 1 goal while Braydon Staniford had 1 goal and 2 assists. Brannan Campbell dished out 1 assist and Bryce Ferguson handed out 2 others. Goalkeeper Tate Cox played a great game with 12 saves and only allowing 1 goal. For Hazard Legend Goins scored the only goal for the Bulldogs.
The win brings the Golden Eagles to 5-3-2 on the season. Next up for the Golden Eagles, they travel to St. Joseph Central in Huntington later today. Hazard falls to 2-7 on the year.
